Supported File Formats

CSV files and simple Markdown tables.

• Markdown tables work with all varieties: surrounding pipes, leading pipes, trailing pipes, and no pipes at all.
• Column alignment is preserved.
• MultiMarkdown table captions become tab titles.

Upcoming File Formats

• MultiMarkdown: current Markdown support is heading into the right direction, but we’re not quite there, yet. Currently not supported:
  • Cells spanning multiple columns,
  • Large headers,
  • Separator rows.
• Pandoc-style table syntax
• LaTeX
• HTML
• Extended CSV (external link)
